New technologies like variable speed drives, sensor controls, and automated pump pools will help optimize existing pumping infrastructure for higher efficiency. The government aims to spearhead more sustainable groundwater extraction practices. Overall, Thailand’s pump market outlook remains positive given its dependence on pumping for development needs. Local manufacturers must continue innovating to retain market share against cheaper import competition.
